The future of mountain areas: challenges and opportunities

In 2022, we’re celebrating two significant occasions: the International Year of Sustainable Mountain Development and the European Year of Youth.

Our association firmly believes in EU values. We actively support youth as well – our objective is to build up a more inclusive society, where everyone can share their ideas and contribute to Europe’s development.

That’s why we have an announce to make – on July 28th the team of giovanichimere is joining the webinar “The future of mountain areas: challenges and opportunities “.

What is it about?

During the event, we’re discussing the following subjects:

• European Cohesion Policy
• Cross-border cooperation in border regions
• Sustainable development of mountain areas
• Climate change

The webinar will feature regional authorities from the main upland areas in Europe and Interreg Volunteer Youth. You will be free to ask questions – an open and direct exchange among participants is precisely the goal we want to achieve through this initiative.

Nel 2022 si celebrano due ricorrenze molto significative: l’anno internazionale dedicato allo sviluppo sostenibile delle aree montuose e l’anno europeo dei giovani.

La nostra associazione crede fortemente nei valori europei. Noi di giovanichimere, inoltre, supportiamo attivamente i giovani: il nostro obiettivo consiste nel dar vita ad una società più inclusiva, in cui ognuno può far valere le proprie idee, contribuendo così allo sviluppo dell’Europa.

Proprio per questa ragione, abbiamo un annuncio da fare: giovedì 28 luglio il nostro team prenderà parte al webinar “The future of mountain areas: challenges and opportunities” (Il futuro delle aree montuose: sfide ed opportunità).

Di cosa si tratta?

Nel Corso dell’evento verranno affrontate le seguenti tematiche:

• Politica di Coesione europea
• Cooperazione transfrontaliera nelle zone di confine
• Sviluppo sostenibile delle aree montuose
• Cambiamento climatico

Il webinar vedrà la partecipazione di Interreg Volunteer Youth (Giovani Volontari Interreg) e di diversi esperti nel settore, che operano nei principali territori montuosi d’Europa.

Avrai l’opportunità di fare tutte le domande che desideri: la promozione del dialogo tra i partecipanti è un pilastro portante di questa iniziativa.
